When we discuss "how to meet women" and "men and relationships", the first conversation with a female is an area I often get questions on. For example, what do you do if you have a great initial encounter with someone you are interested in only to learn that she is already relating to another person? Should you just start each conversation with "Are you seeing someone?"

In my opinion, I never ask a woman about her romance state. It reveals a lack of total confidence to do so. However, I follow signals and flirt a little to see how they react. Also just because someone is "seeing" someone doesn't suggest they are in a devoted relationship and aren't interested in interacting with you.

Watch the signals that a woman shows you in a conversation. Is she just being courteous conversing with you or is she actually interested? If she is in love she will probably talk to you but won't try to create any future with you (see you later). She might be a bit aloof and get even more so when you try to flirt.

If a woman is really interested in you she will flirt back and give you some clues that she wants to see you in the future. She will indicate doing something or meeting or conversing or getting together. She will make a point of how she simply enjoyed talking to you, at which stage, you could suggest that you should talk again or some more and ask for her phone number.

If you are watchful you can understand very quickly if a female is flirting with you or if she is just being polite. Now if she is serious about you, and you show confidence enough to not ask if she is seeing someone, you will usually score a few points with her.
